We met at the barracks at seven o'clock in the evening to go and visit New Haven. Well prepared with recruitment leaflets and banner cloth kindly provided by Axiana, we set off for the Minoc Moongate where we were caught up by Miss Hawkins. Passing out the leaflets we moved through the gate to New Heaven, and were assailed by bandits; one would have thought with the traffic through that area that it would be safer! Unfortunately Axiana was knocked by the brigands but we got her to a healer and she was fine, though I fear she will have a nasty bruise tomorrow morning.
New Haven lay scattered with the normal rubbish of people passing through; it quickly became apparent that there were very few people with any sense of being normal present. Nonetheless we persevered and handed out some leaflets, though some were as rude as to not even respond but simply to run away! We placed a few banners and recruitment leaflets for when we left when we were accosted by an elf, claiming that we were lying. He also disgraced our liege's name by calling him a liar, and did not leave until he had destroyed our hand-made banners.
Disgruntled, we moved onto Britain where a similar occurance took place - too many mad people, too few people with any sense of normality. Even so we - perhaps foolhardily - placed some books and banners and chose to call it a day. Perhaps not such a directly successful trip, but maybe someone found the books we left... we can hope, can't we?
