Could I just remind folk to use the Calender when placing events?
All it does, is adds an event name on the trackable calender, and displays it in 'Today's Events' at the bottom of the forum; it also links to the thread you create under it's name.
When holding a pre-planned event, click 'CALENDER' at the top of the forum, and insert the name of the event, and the date when it will take place. (No time/date is required in the event title)
Once posted, you will have a 'Create New Thread' message window appear, which will be placed in the event forum; create the thread as usual.
It's just that I find a calendar much easier to check than a sub-forum, and often I see tonnes of events in the event board, but the calender says nothing's going on.
