No such thing as a "good Vesperian", He may be the smartest however.

Went for a Scout around Vesper and noticed Lurtz leaving poor little Momo alone outside. So I went and gave him some company, A newly made war fork! They didnt really get on though  .





The secret scouting victory dance was in order....

Certainly will, nobody was available when I did this task.

I was ordered into Tukuno to eliminate a new threat against Cove. An Alliance between the rival gangs of Tokuno (The Freebasing Fan Dancers, The Racist Red Ronin's and the Necrophobic Noisless Ninja's) seemed imminent with the sole intention being to overthrow the baron.

After besting any gang member I'd plant evidence on the corpse pointing back to one of the rival gangs.

Hoisted some banners today...

I was wandering through the badlands and decided to stop in for an ale at a tavern, checked the noticeboard for any work that might be going in the area and came across a very cryptic message which I believe is for Kas Valentine. I have attempted to scribe it down....

Was waiting to go on the recruitment drive and was wandering about cove when i stepped into some ogre muck, must have been a few about as there was a huge pile of their wastage. I scooped it up and ade good use of it.

Move it then.

It is that time of year when the horses come and break down the fences of good Covian farmers, trampling their crops and eating their livelihood’s. Depriving us all of fresh vegetables’.

So off we went for the yearly cull, “keep the numbers of those foul beasts down” was the ironic order from Kas Valentine. Off we marched to Umbra looking for “Spirit Wind” or the black horse as I like ter call it. It was not long till we found and felled one of the beasts removing its head as a trophy and to use for a quite special and uniquely acquired tasting Covian Equestrienne soup.

Then it was off again to find “Fire Spirit” or the red horse to us simpler folk. Quickly locating it we stuck out at it, Cor’Vani was kicked viciously in the head and fell lifeless. I, believing he had been slain struck out with such anger at the beast as to sever its head while it still breathed. I then returned to where I thought I had left Cor’Vani but there was no trace of him. I searched quickly in the surrounding area and came across a pack of hellish hounds that chased me from the lair. So I report with great sadness that Cor’Vani is missing presumed dead.

I returned to the barracks with the sad news and was met by fellow recruit Kelban, who consoled me and gave me the assurance that if Cor’Vani had met his fate that it was a soldiers death and something to celebrate. We chatted a while and he agreed to come and help me finish the now dispiriting task.

Off we set for the head of a Unicorn, Kelban seemed to be a very adept tracker and we picked up the tracks of one quickly, and caught it unawares, brought it down as quick as an Ale after training.

The final creature that needed our attention is known locally as “the devils pony” some folk further afield call it a Ki-Rin. Off we trotted again into some dank place, this time t’was not as easy to track Kelban said due to the moisture in the air. We came to its lair after much searching and where surprised by some foul gold poison vapour that knocked us both out. We both awoke with splitting headaches but none the worse for wear. Quickly eliminated the last on our list and returned post haste to the barracks.

* Achievements- 100 ore and 8000 gold for coffers.

I decided to go get some ore for a new helmet that I was wanting so trotted off to mine in front of the orc fort.

As I started mining for ore a large orc attacked me calling his bretheren down, he and his three brothers tried to bring me down, fortunatley i slew them all and lo and behold they where all carrying ore!

* Purpose behind event - Collect gold and kill the queen solen.
* Members involved - Dave Williams.
* Achievements - Killed the solen queen and collected 4500 gold for coffers.

Whilst placing a banner at the minoc gate I was suddenly pushed from the rear causing me to fall over and burn my left hand on one of the torches I was placing. A vesper attack i thought and jumped up quickly with blade in hand only to find a pig glaring at me with cold beady eyes. Angrily I went for the pig which squealed and ran off in a westerly direction. I gave chase thinking of a well earned bacon breakfast after such a laborious task. I chased for a while and suddenly right before me a chasm appeared, a huge hole in the earth that seemed to emit a rather acrid pungent smell, forgetting my stomach I decided to investigate..



Upon entering the chasm I came across two large dead ant like creatures that had only recently been slain as the bodies still appeared to be twitching. Rounding the next corner I came face to face with a live one and quickly sent it to join its friends. The deeper in I went the more ants there where and the more I fought, twas as if a lead ant was directing worker or soldier ants to attack me. I was slowly being worn down with ant upon ant being sent, just as i was about to give up I saw a gigantic ant that was screeching high pitched what i can only assume to be orders to the other ants you may even say it had a raiden-esk quality to it, who would then all come at me. I attacked the giant ant and stabbed it many times, its hard bodied armor repelled my blade again and again until with a very forceful thrust *POW* i had beaten its armor! * SLPOOOOOOOSH* and was promptly met with a faceful of the ants stomach acid. A few more stabs and the insect was crushed. Seeing their Queen defeated the rest of the ants ran and I took the opportunity to beat a hasty retreat.

Decided to add a few banners to boost the ranks as per the commander's standing order. Nothing untoward happened during the banner placement.

Raiden was moaning about lack of feathers for the archers! So muggins was sent out alone to gather some in a foul smelling cavern that housed huge dirty great big chicken type horrors.

I slashed and hacked and hacked and slashed killing the horrible creatures and dispatching them back to hell.
