Closing the woman's eyes, Khae rose. He tried to rub some of the mud and grime off on his shirt. The poor woman's lower body had been taken clean off by one of those Fallen Angels. Her intestines were rolling out of her, the stench overwhelming. Khae sighed. Ever since the soldiers had gone through that rift, everything had gone wrong. Those black wisps, the green blobs named putrid essences... Then you had those damnable Fallen Angels, who luckily seemed to be fighting the daemons half the time. At least they did when Khae caught their attention and made them run after him, then leading them straight to one of the daemons before dodging behind a wall. Those daemons ripped the angels apart. Then you had the ethereal vestiges of the Shadowlords. Astaroth, Faulinei and Nosfentor. Hatred, Falsehood and Cowardice.

An explosion rocked the ground, knocking Khae to his feet. Someone had cast Armageddon again.
Kill them all!
Grunting, he got up. Gripping his planeshield and planesword, he looked around the corner of the Mages' shop. Was this really Moonglow? Was it a mirror of a possible future? As far as he'd gathered, it was a pocket in the Ethereal Ether. Which was actually where the Guardian lived. Could this allow the Guardian to enter Sosaria? Several wisps were floating around menacingly. Muttering an incantation, Khae summoned up to vortexes of pure energy. Khae watched as they brough down a wisp, and no sooner had they done that, than a shadowy shape of it rose up again. The wisps had a lot of skill in necromancy. Suddenly, his muscles froze. He had been paralysed. Fighting the incantation with all his will, he spun. A dark wisp was swerving towards him. More worryingly, a fireball was headed straight for him. Swinging the shield up in protection, the spell shattered into the shield, numbing his arm. Snarling, he enveloped the wisp in fire. Telling the laws of physics to shut up and sit down did for some reason not work close to the rift in the "Real World." This world was more than real enough for Khae.

Running down the street, he passed wisps fighting his vortexes. A Shadowlord was fighting several soldiers of Britannia. Spinning, it turned on Khae. Khae lifted from the ground as an explosion rocked the ground again, flinging him several feet into the hedge of the labyrinth.
Kill them all!
So art thou.

Damn shadows. Opening his eyes, he was looking straight up at the sky. A daemon was gazing sickly down at him.
Bollocks.
Rolling aside as the beast's claw plowed into the hedge, Khae ran for the shadows, dissapearing once more.

[OOC: Might be continued, but there are rumours of a half-crazed, bigoted elf dressed in purple with Wizzard written on a pointed wizard's hat running around Moonglow, firing catapult shots at Shadowlords. ]
