With a small turnout and due to the fact that recruit Mystra was new to the Baronship I had to restructure my intended recruitment campaign a little and also guarantee both participants a prize!
Hoagie and Mystra would place twenty banners together while I would head of on my own to place ten banners. I gave them runebooks that had already been marked with random recruitment hotspots as well as supplies for banner placement and off we went!
Banners were place at towns, moongates, dungeons, shrines, shops and other places of interest. I arrived back at the barracks in no time and sent a pigeon to seek the whereabouts of Hoagie and Mystra but it seemed they were making slow progress due to a shopkeeper swiping one of their rune books. Hoh!
So I headed out to lay another ten banners and still arrived back before them! When they finally arrived back for the Arkay's Archery Guild's meeting I let them chose their prizes. The recruit chose first taking a bank check and Sergeant Hoagie chose a fur rug.
More recruits for Cove I say!
