Captain Morana,

'Tis my understanding, following a Wytch Hunter's report which I hath attached to the back of this letter, that the heretic known as Mischief hath been spotted mingling amongst the citizenry and guardsmen of Trinsic.

Knowing full-well that thou doth speak on good terms with the Duke of Trinsic, I wouldst require that thou dost do everything within thy power to ensure Trinsic signs the warrant for the heretic's arrest, and that their citizenry and guardsmen art actively on the look out for her, and wouldst return her to Cove for trial when she is caught. I need not remind thee that I hath turned a blind eye on thy behalf in the past for the benefit of Cove, and as a man of honour I wouldst assume thou art familiar with the proverb "an eye for an eye".

Further to this, I wouldst require, now that the Minoc conflict hath ended, that thou dost disclose to me everything thou doth know of the heretic from thy meetings, which shalt hopefully lead to finding her hiding place, and those who hath been assisting her in keeping her hidden from the Church's sight.

As the Captain of one of Britannia's most prosperous armies, thou hast achieved so much over recent years...

...Wouldn't it be a shame to lose it all?

Regards,

Father Siegfried,

Thank ye fer yer note. It was an unexpected... pleasure.

I am indeed on good terms with Duke Irvyn. Cove and Trinsic enjoy a non military alliance and free trade which is of great benefit to the common folk of both towns.

I believe the Duke may be absent from his office for the next week or so, but I will speak with him upon his return. However, as I am sure you will understand and agree with, I will not endanger the livelihoods of Avatar fearing Covians by exerting any pressure on the Duke and thus jeopardising said trade agreements.

As for the woman. I know not where she hides or frequents. Our meetings have been random and never at the same venue. However, What I do know is this... She has her value... still. She has the ear of the house D'Gar and contacts within Vesper. The information she offers on our two closest neighbours is of great value and vital for the safeguarding of our fine Avatarian city.

She is no good to me dead...

p.s. I thank ye fer yer kind words Father... Much has been achieved in recent times, not least a resurgent Avatarian Church in Cove... It would indeed be a shame to lose that...

[ooc]Again this is a private letter to the Templar Preceptor. All information within it is OOC knowledge to everyone apart from Raiden and Siegfried unless divulged to others In Character.[/ooc]
