The BoC village (does it have a name?) consists of numerous houses including the barracks, church, player houses, brewery and so forth. However to me it does not feel like a village. There is no sense of unity amongst the individual buildings except for the same sign hanger outside every building.  It feels like a collection of houses. No character or atmosphere overall. Indeed the individual buildings have their own atmosphere such as the church and barracks but overall as a village there is not since the next building is so radically different to the next in terms of its theme (walls used etc).  Perhaps it would be a good idea to have all buildings have the same wall styles used?  A sort of recurring theme throughout.

There are plans to make the church and barracks look a little more united (For example same stone usage) But all of this is still in the starters phase.

Also the village has a name:
Baronship Household.

Yeh, Baronship Household it is. Part of Cove.
But yeh, I agree. There should be unity *nods*

Indeed. We need to start changing so that all of our buildings look the same. I'd recommend making them all like the barracks.

Well, by the sounds of what you're telling me, you are pretty hot yourself and stand a good chance of getting her I reckon. (Don't tell anyone I told you you're hot, or you die a grizzly death).

Well, at the same time you want a bit of flair and originality to each building. But... there needs to be like a background theme that you can instantly recognise as Covian.

My house, it is a bit out of the way down by the pond, but it'd be no problem to over haul it a bit and make it heavy dark stone... still need to do some thing with that garden.

That stone is suprisingly versital, you can get a lot of diffrent looks out of it.

My Home is on the coast between Cove and Vesper, but I can change the stonework if you want.

If a house does come up near the actual village thats of fair size please let me know.

Thanks

One fell just a bit down the coast from Aelthas's  I think it's like 7x9 or 8x10ish in size... it's still really close to Cove, and not in the middle of the house glom.  If I didn't have one all ready I'd take it  Smiley

Yes they should have their individual character. But there should be some sort of recurring theme and unity.
