Good day all,

My name is Spud Goodsoup, I be new to these parts. I am a Blacksmith by trade and slowly learning to sew a few cloths together too.

For my new abode near Cove I require some new items for my house. I would like one of you fine soldiers to go out into the woods and bring me back a Bear carcass so I can create a splendid rug, a deer's head so I can mount it on my wall and capture me a large fish so I can mount that also.

For all 3 of these I am willing to pay the total sum of 30,000 shillings.

If the request was for civilians to carry out it would have been placed on the "Town Hall" notice board. If it had been placed on the citizen boards the mercs wouldn't have seen it. (/ooc)

It was the perfect job, kill bears, save the world, get paid...

   
    I set out to Altmere where'd I'd find one of the many bears terrorizing the citizens of the North. It didn't take long to find a bear just walking about minding it's own business, looking for a meal,  plotting to overthrow the Baron, taking in fresh bear air... I didn't have time for it's games! I watched the bear closely from behind, anticipating it's actions to their every move, Avatar forbid it get a good hit on me and I loose my leg or even worse, my beard... Ah would have loved t' just cut the bear into little bear bits but I could nay damage the fur and the job came before mah safety!  Needless to say, the bear was beaten to death using "Alternative methods" and was skinned.


The description of some form of siege weapon was found on the body of this particular bear. It would possibly certainly be used against Cove.

The fur awaits pick-up.

Tonight has been Busy indeed!

I had a visit from Khaelieth after he was directed to my abode by Nate Dawning. Khaelieth had spent time to capture me a mighty fine fish indeed!

It now hangs with pride on my wall and only costing ten thousand gold coins it was almost a steal!
