[This is posted in the town hall and though out Cove]

[OOC Information]:

Those willing to run any of the above shops would be required to have a physical shop within Cove Proper.  It can be part of your current home, as most were during those days with the owner living above or behind his shop.  Their goods will be used during trade with other guilds and open markets.  They will get shillings for their roll playing of their shop and events they take part in.

Shops will be granted first to those of Citizen ranks.  They may be allowed to hire commoners to help with the shop.  For example, you might be a master carpenter, and hire 1 to 3 lumberjacks to supply you with logs and boards!  If another player was running a logging camp, they you would get your logs or boards from them and maybe have 1 or 2 commoners as junior craftsmen helping you or running the front of the shop selling your wears!

But the key to this is a member who can devote the time to the shop, hopefully not a mercenary that just happens to have a crafter.  I do understand that some of us have alts, if you think you can manage fighting and being seen in town running a shop, then by all means, apply!  The key to this is activity and interaction among the town.
