2,000 coins were distributed to each member of the expedition, with another 5,000 being deposited in the coffers.
I also donated my 2,000 coin share as did some others who will sign below.I was keen to impress upon The Company the importance and indeed brilliance of the "Arkay Manouvre" when facing some of the land's most ferocious beasts. Therefore before setting off to our destination I ordered those present to the rooftop for a quick refresher/walk through of the basics of the tactic.
With everyone having an understanding of how to implement the manouvre we headed into the Spirituality region of Ilshenar and the dungeon Blood. Our prey would be Balrons and hopefully The Company would claim a trophy from one of the golden Balron champions.
Having found a suitable, defencible position within the dungeon I employed Mercenary Styx as Balron bait while the rest of us formed up. Styx scooted off and one by one he led at least twenty of the guardian's spawn into the teeth of our archers and magelings. Protected by the shields of Hoagie, Lud' and myself our formation downed Balron after Balron.
Although the Balrons seemed to find Tyrael attractive enough he was unable to rouse a golden champion. I then
(out of sheer desperation) sent Keres in to try and waken one but to no avail.
Balrons slain ~ 20 at least.
Coins recovered ~ Plenty!
