An innocent trip to the barracks to see what was going on would prove to be a mistake for a weary guardsmen looking to end the day off with a drink or two as the bell was rang at the barracks and guardsmen all around were drafted into another death-defying hunt led by "The Keres". It took little time for everyone to ensure their kits were in flawless condition and we were soon discussing our location. Then, Doctor Jones appeared and pulled us out of our indecision, leading us to the Titan's home in Ilshenar.
The titans had been hiding a treasure away in the depths of their stronghold, a cave guarded by a valley full of the one-eyed-beasts. It was our valiant duty to liberate that gold from the clutches of the giants so we pushed through the valley of giants, however, it proved no challenge due to a local who had beaten us to them all, but were he not there, we'd still have slaughtered them! He didn't seem to be aware of the treasure so we snuck casually into the suspicious cave.
The dungeon was a deathtrap, full of traps and countless giants! But under the leadership of "The Keres" and of course the healing of "Buttons" saving "The Keres" from his painful fate several times, we smashed through the hordes of Titans, keeping the doctor safe all the way.
We charged down the flight of stairs into more giants effortlessly slashing about as the doctor followed the clues scattered about. In the midst of all the sword clanging a clever giant caught onto our objective and went after Doctor Jones. The Doctor bolted so fast, we barely noticed. He's very fast.
We fought our way back through the hordes to the doctor who had been knocked something awful but we brought him to his feet and fixed him up. At this point Kal had left and we were down to four warriors. The concept of "healing" partners was introduced at this point. Buttons and Keres, Kas and Mercy. We'd fight our way into the crowd, draw their attention keeping ourselves up while Kas and Mercy aided Doctor Jones to retrieve his equipment.
The giant horde was successfully beat down but we could not keep it up. We fell back to the valley. This is where the doctor informed us he did in fact, find the treasure. Mission Success!
