Greetings one and all!
Today has been an interesting day indeed! The famous Marcus Kobra and infamous Faden Wildheart gathered at the barracks, their mission was picked up off the Mercenary contract board. Raiden Morana required brave Mercenaries to venture into Covetous and map out the mountains.
Faden blank map in one hand, a kryss in the other along with Marcus clutching his mighty broad sword set off to the mountains excited about the challenge ahead. They quickly sketched out level one with no difficulty at all. They found an interesting lone candle on a altar of some sort. Some vines stood in their way but they were quickly cut down then they reached level two
The second part of the mountain sure was a tricky one and the pair battled pathetic Headlesses and then cruel Dread Spiders which still had their pray wrapped in their webs. The two tough warriors encountered a small area containing spiders and elementals, they were quickly over come and knocked out. They used magic to weaken the two warriors, they could not move due to the amount of gold and feathers they had collected, Faden tried to empty his pack but it was too late. Marcus managed to limp out with his belongings while Faden was a little more hurt and lost all of his belongings including the Covian colours, this truely was a dark moment for Faden and he learn't a swift lesson.
The two mercenaries were beaten this time but will gather with more mercenaries soon to complete the mapping. They forgot Raidens instructions to stick to the shadows...
