I just had an idea about the arms an arcanist wears....Just an idea but the Samurai armor (I know samurai big no no but hear me out! hehe ) The leather  Sunaete or whatever the sleeves are called look very similar to plate arms when worn....and when colored and worn they actually look like typical uniform. I just thought it looked a little cooler than just the dye leather sleeves which are hardly noticeable. Just an idear

Personally I like the tokuno arms. They look nice.

The fact that the dyed sleeves arent very noticeable in combat was kind of the point. We didnt want to put "Stab me in the face, I'm an Arcanist" signs on all of our mages' faces. >_>

But we put stab me I am a "Squady" on everyone else? Either we put it on arcanists or we make the squads less remarkable aswell. It rediculous to have the seperate standards.

Well way I see it, you walk into a battle with a book or no weapon in hand....guess what..The Jig is up they know! hehehe

People see my name Cel...etc etc and that is enough, I could be wearing a deathrobe and I would still get aggro:)

That isnt a valid point whatsoever. An Arcanist cant defend themself half as well as a Grenadier or Scout, and they're also much higher on the target list. Making them less noticeable is a survival tactic, not an attempt to deprive them of a squad honor.

Besides, it makes no sense for a group that is by Cove's lore hated and persecuted by the Church and distrusted by the general population to go around with big "Hate I'm An Arcanist" signs on their backs.

Arcanists have coloured arms just as most of the other squads old and new. We even have our own Parade Arm. They only squad that differs more so from the main block is the scouts, mostly out of need.
