BoC has always tried to innovate and offer the best roleplaying experience on the Europa shard to it's members and those who interact with us and as such the guild has undergone many changes over the years including some more recent adjustments that may or may not have slipped your notice.

Hopefully this thread will offer a concise listing and brief explanation of important rules and points of reference that every BoCian should be familiar with.

BoC Guild Rules.

Our guild rules have recently been updated to incorporate the change back to the Army from the Company in terms of explosives usage, along with a few other minor updates regarding the Twilight Legion and other slight adjustments, so please take the time to refresh yourselves with the document.

Revamped Promotion System.

With the success of (and the fact that most people loved it) the task based promotion system adopted by the Company, Command decided to carry this over with the reforming of the Army by the way of Guardsman Duties.

A set number of Guardsman Duties must be completed along with various other miscellaneous tasks in order to gain promotion. However you are not tied to these duties exclusively. You may lead miscellaneous events (that show imagination and effort not only in staging the event but in reporting it too) and submit them to Command to see if they are deserving of a Guardsman Duty requirement. The higher your rank the more there is expected of you.

Self Administration.

Guardsmen above the rank of Recruit are now expected to create and maintain their own administration file much like the Citizenry, Criminals, Church and Twilight Legion have done for some time. You can even earn a Guardsman Duty requirement for doing it.

Covian Accolade Nominations.

Do you think one of your guildmates is deserving of recognition for the time, effort and imagination they put into the guild? Perhaps you'd even like to nominate yourself? PM or ICQ a member of the Command Team with your nomination and the accolade you feel they are deserving of.

Bring Your Ideas To Life.

Do you have a storyarc or plotline you'd like to see brought into play? Do you have ideas on how to make the Covian experience even better? If so, submit them to the Command Team and we'll do our best to bring your dreams to fruition.

We can't promise we'll act on every request we receive but we shall discuss them all and try and incorporate them where we can.

If anyone has any questions, queries or suggestions please submit them to a Command member.

Cheers,

Raiden.
