With a touch of pomp and circumstance, Mr Jarl and I opened our provisions & clothing shop at the Memorial Square last week.
We invited our guests, amongst whom were members of the army and fellow Covian traders, to enjoy free drinks and goodie bags whilst the shopgirls showed off our wares. It's a very exciting time for us and we were happy to see so many there!
30 shillings rewarded to Miss Heather Yearling and Miss Maibaum Holzfee for their help in preparing for the event and looking after our guests (at the last minute!); and
30 shillings rewarded to Lord Jarl for his help setting-up as well.
15 shillings awarded to Ms Jones for attending.
