As with any criminal organisation, the Brotherhood is not different. A structure is clear, defined and known to it's many members. We follow the same idea as the criminals within the rest of Cove however the system is slightly different. You do not need to make a folder with your own name and infamy points, the leaders of the Brotherhood are quite aware how influential and effective you are. Who is to say a new rogue can not challenge the bosses if he can force people around him to follow his lead? We do not wish to limit your roleplay experience with strict rules which inhibit you to go out and do your dark deed, oh no fellow brotherhoodians, what we expect is from our ranking system is a show of respect from your character. If to say someone of a higher rank then you were to speak, you would listen, and nod your head, or know he is in favour with the bosses and more then likely if your disrespectful, consequences would occur. This is not to say you have to be quiet of course, but common sense is advisable. Within the Brotherhood you have three different sections, all with four different rank structures, everyone of course start at the buttom if they are new.

Small change - Shillings are now awarded for reports done, link followed here for explanation.- http://cove.sugeworld.com/forum/index.php/topic,13214.0.html

The Rogue: 0-500 Shillings -
The Rogue is the lowest class within the organisations they are your usual common thugs, strongarms and hired knife. They are not able to set tasks except with permission of the bosses and are not trusted members of the Brotherhood. The usual tasks of messanges and helping higher ranking members with whatever is needed is usually the dish of the day for your common Rogue.

The Mercenary:500 - 1500 Shillings - The mercenary is a trusted and loyal member of the Brotherhood, having proven themselfs trustworthy and reliable as a rogue they are now able to set tasks, and involve themselfs in everything that is the daily life of the Brotherhood. Usually working with the Smugglers or having one or two of their own informants is the usual daily life of the mercenary. Mercenaries are however not able to set up tasks without consulting a boss before posting it.

The Outlaw : 2500 - 4000 Shillings - As with The Rogue the Outlaw is a proven and long standing member of The Mercenary ranking. Having proven himself beyond the usual gusto of your classic rogue and mercenary he holds a high upstanding within the Brotherhood, able to form a small gang of his own if he chooses to, set up tasks without consulting the bosses and generally a loyal and devoted servant of the Brotherhood. The perks of being a Outlaw is that you are being involved in the bigger and more impressive plot lines within the Brotherhood, showing you are capable of leading men and taking your own initiative towards bettering the powerbase and perhaps, just perhaps, you taken into your mind that you should be the next Boss?

The Boss: 4000 + shillings - After many years and struggles through heaps of corpses and deep plots you are now in charge of the Brotherhood you started out to serve.

The Boss position is only ever held by three people in total, usually one for each section or in case, perhaps overlapping one another. Currently there is one Boss position open.

The Con-artist: 0-500 shillings -
The con artist is the lowest type of Smuggler or merchant within the Brotherhood, more then likely you are pulling off small schemes or helping some of the higher ranking members with the more profitable coups, however is unlikely you been fully informed of the full picture. As with the Rogue you are not able to set up tasks except with the special permission from the Bosses. They usually are left with the task of dealing out narcotics which has been smuggled in by The Smugglers

The Smuggler:500-1500 shillings - The Smuggler is a trusted Con-artist whom has proven his worth in setting up complicated schemes and working towards the brotherhoods powerbase increasing with wealth and merchant ties. You are able to set up your own tasks aslong as they been approved by the Bosses. The priveleges of the Smuggler is he usually has his own branch of merchandise to deal with, thus earning a fine profit on the side for what he does for the Brotherhood. Usually he is helping the higher ranks with the problems and concerns of avoiding tolls and generally helping to smuggler various narcotics and nightshade into towns or confusing the local magistrates and guards with the countless of informants and "friends" within those sections.

The Conjurer Of Crowns:1500-4000 shillings - After many years of smuggling in nightshade, dealing with the bosses requests of weapons being shifted from goodness many places you finally earned to sit back and watch the illegal shillings, doubloons and crowns swing your way. Able to set up your own tasks to further your own greed you can finally involve yourself in the big plotlines and set up your own shop outside of the Brotherhood, perhaps thinking you have what it takes to become your own master of coin? However know, the Brotherhood do not look kindly to loose an asset, especially one proven to be as usual as you...

The Boss: 4000+ shillings - After many years and struggles through heaps of corpses and deep plots you are now in charge of the Brotherhood you started out to serve.

The Boss position is only ever held by three people in total, usually one for each section or in case, perhaps overlapping one another. Currently there is one Boss position open.

The Snitch: 0-500 shillings - The watcher is the lowest kind of informant type, more then usual the information they pass on is not exactly acted upon on trusted fully, who knows, maybe you are working for someone else and only here to infiltrate the Brotherhood? What is known of Watchers is that it is a life spend listening by doors, running messanges and generally helping the bosses keep a air of "omnipotence" to further the long tendrils which the Brotherhood swings into all kinds of buisnesses and foreign affairs. You are not however allowed to set up your own tasks except with permission from the Bosses. More then usual your days will be spend overhearing conversations which could be important, or staying hidden and spying on whoever your superiors have ordered you to.

The Informant: 500-1500 shillings - Having spend considerable time listening at doors and keeping the Brotherhood informed of Sosarias doing you are finally the Informant, having your own network of spies and people you are what keeps the Bosses and Watchers informed with trustworthy if not always exactly accurate information. You can now post your own tasks aslong as a Boss gives it a look over. However what now is involved in your life is one of hardship as your information is what keeps the Brotherhood in the know, without you, they would loose the power to control local goverments and control the local garrisons. If you are found out, more then likely severe punishments are to be measured out...

The Watcher: 1500-4000 shillings - A spy of deep cunning and subtlety you are finally running your own operation, your the eyes ears and more then enough mouth of the whole Brotherhood operation. Setting up your own tasks and spinning your own webs of lies and deciet the Bosses have been proven time and time again you are reliable and trustworthy... However, with this trust, perhaps it is time you use your own cunning to take over the Brotherhood, perhaps you think the Bosses are not as cunning and "omnipotent" as you were lead to believe as a small timer? Why not try and find out, just remember if you fail, you have to know consequences are going to more then severe, but of course, you won't be caught, will you?

The Boss: 4000+ shillings - After many years and struggles through heaps of corpses and deep plots you are now in charge of the Brotherhood you started out to serve.

The Boss position is only ever held by three people in total, usually one for each section or in case, perhaps overlapping one another. Currently there is one Boss position open.

What is important to note is that you are not forced to stay within one branch, they are merely a title so people if asked by others know who would be in charge due to the ranks, if special considerations are not involved of course. Do not feel that if you are a smuggler you can't do a bit of spying or sword fighting, do not limit yourself, however of course if you are part of the smuggler section, you do not wish to be too much better then the Mercenaries at what they do, they might get jealous and do goodness knows what!....
