With many of the Guardsmen visiting Trinsic to participate in or watch the tourney, I decided to use some intiative rather than watch over an empty tavern. What better way to ad some excitement to the Tourney than some gambling?
The response was less than I hoped for, but there were a some eager participents. Captain Hoagie, Sir Gendin and a Yewian named Robert Tripps were the favourites, but only one person picked the winner, a Vesperian named Damian. Thusly, Declan of the Swaggers won the full amount. Minus my modest commision. Had he not won, the full pot would have remained with me. But it was worth it to entertain the hardworking Covians.
There was nearly some trouble when my competition, two green clad men, tried to get me arrested as an accomplice of some Collegium kidnapper. But a fellow Covian vouched for me and I was left unhindered.
