I am writing to you in private because this is a problem wich conserns a Tax Man.
I should Point Out that, I have No Problem with the Taxes and no Simpathy with, Those Idiots who Call themselves Resistanse or Whatever. But, it Has come to My attention that, a Taxman is Abusing his Powers and, bringing Shame upon his Offise and the Baron.
Miss Anna Jones was Very Upset after a Man who, Taxed her Repeatedly, then Tried to Blackmail her Into Bed with Him. He Threatened to Reveal to The Church and Also, the Bailiff, a Dark Secret, which, is probably not Even True but, still. He sent her A Letter, which I have Copied Below. The Original looked like Somone had Licked it.
Also, when I went to Check on Anna earlier today, this Man, who told me he was called, Kadere, was In Her House, having Broken a Window and Also a Door Upstairs. He Stated he was There to Count the Windows, which Should Not Need him to Be Inside, and Tax Anna, who Was Not Home, According to Him. Anna came Down the Stairs after I came in and, she looked Very Upset, and Extremely Scared. I Know that the Baron has Said they may Do whatever They need to to Get Taxes but, that seems Not to be Part of The Deal. The Man was Extremely unpleasant and Aggressive, Until, it Became Clear that I was Not likely to Go Away. He was Not Wearing a Taxman's Uniform, but had a Ledger on him.
I Advised Anna to Pay the Taxes, as it Was the Law, and they Went to the Bank to Pay. He apparently Tried Again to Get her to Go to Bed with Him inside the Bank and, touched her Without, her Permission, in a Way which is Un Acceptable.
In Essence the Offenses I Would consider this Man to have Committed, are, Trespassing, and also, Vandalism, and also, Assault, and also, Blackmail, and also, Some Kind of Sexual Offense.
I Told Anna to Write Down everything He Said, but, she is Obviously, very Upset about It All. It would Seem that This Man is Abusing his Position for Vile Ends, and Bringing his Position and Therefore, the Baron, into, Ill Repute.
