The Recruit Cadre is a new procedure of training for all Guardsman Recruits; it is essentially induction training to the Militia, and covers several key areas;
* Basic Orders
* Essential Kit
* An Introduction to Combat
* An Introduction to Formations
* Duties of a Sentry
* Basic Patrolling Skills
It also includes the swearing of an oath in the presence of the Baron, or a senior officer.
Whilst the attendance this eve did not show quantity, it DID show quality. I was most pleased with the effort and competence Recruit Arc and Recruit Jackhera Orange displayed.

Welcome to the Cove Militia.A good effort from Recruit Arc and Recruit Orange. They shall shall receive their Trials (quests - within the next day or so), now that they have passed out of Recruit Cadre, and shall then be able to progress through the Militia structure.
Another Recruit Cadre will be held later this week for those of ye who could nay attend this evening.
