My name is Gerius Algonquin and I am a scribe of good name and stature in the Moonglow Lyceaum. I was approached by a young warrior who does not posses the ability to write yet you commandeered a report from him. I shall attempt to write down his brief report. I also have taken the liberty of adding his rather crude etchings.

Gerius Algonquin, ScribeCorporal Veldrin bossed us poor chaps around again last night. It was a nightmare. Ordering us around to build a fortification around the Covian gates. She didn't spare the two Grenadier Sergeants either. Build the fort here, build it bigger, build it smaller, don't use hides. Bah! bossy Drow wench! Burn the lot of them I say!
Anyhow after a while the fortifications were ready and we started the exhilarating thrill of standing around.
After a small while the tension just got the better of me. I started to doze off and just when I was dreaming about my statue being erect for the brilliant fight with the five hundred Orc Brutes...
After that rather rude awakening Grenadier Sergeant Ryan Graystone was assaulted by a sneaky chap. He kept shooting darts and whatnote from the shadows and then slipping away like an eel.
After a small chase we got the slippery fellow but the strangest thing happened when we attempted to remove his mask. His body disappeared entirely. I said it before and I'll say it again, far too much witchcraft and other unholy practices going on in Cove of late!
Soon afterwards Misstress Bosslady Wench Veldrin called off the guardsentry and dismissed the men.
