Name: Roland Dagorian
Race: Human
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Age: 26
Hair: Short, brown
Height: 5'10
Accent: A mixture of north-eastern and southern Britannian.  At times he will slip into a more formal speech.  His writing tends to the formal, a result of his training.

Roland was born in Minoc to a blacksmith and tavern maid.  His father had once been a paladin in Trinsic but was forced to retire after being badly wounded in battle.  Roland showed little interest in smithing or mining and his father reluctantly let him train with the Minoc guards.  He also instructed Roland in the ideals of the paladin and religion played a large part in his upbringing.

When Roland was sixteen his father repaired an impoverished Knight's armour for no payment - on the condition the knight took on Roland as a squire.  Roland spent ten years living in Trinsic.  Much of the rustic country lad was submerged by the formal manners and speech of the paladins.

When the facet of Malas was discovered the knight and Roland travelled to Luna to learn ways of Chivalry.  It was at this time Roland's mentor was killed in battle by a Necromancer.  Roland, trained only in the basics of Chivalry, nevertheless returned to Britannia.  After spending some time travelling, Roland decided to settle down and found himself in Cove, signing up as a Guardsman Recruit.

The religion of the Avatari was a large part of Roland's childhood and time will only tell if the teachings of the Covian Church will re-ignite his piety.

Roland gained the rank of Watchman and stayed in Cove when the Baron led many of the others to Yew.  His piety increased and he finally fled after the Church was banished from Cove.

He ended up in Yew and became a Templi Squire.  After that he spent months wandering the land as a healer before once again ending up in Cove.  To his delight the Church of Cove had been rebuilt and he became a Templi Squire of the Covian Church.

His duties and Faith have given him a stern visage and he is devoted to spreading the Avatari Faith.  He will tolerate no disrespect of the Church and is ever-vigilent for signs of heresy.

I can't seem to see how Roland is merely good, he seems to have  a touch of opressive evil about him..

Ahh, I should really change that.  It was written back when he was a lowly recruit, before he "found Avatar".

I kind of dislike the D&D morality thing anyway.

Speaking of morals.  Only the most "Moralistic" organizations like the church are the ones that are truly evil... ;P
