The Barons Court

The Barons court has now officially been established! The Baron is now seeking ministers of office to voice the concerns of the people of Cove and discuss internal and external matters of extreme importance!

Positions Available:

Trade Minister – Seeing as it is money that keeps the world spinning someone is needed to represent it; and this task falls to the trade minister. In charge of overseeing trade caravans, and internal trade and infrastructure affairs, such as the creation of roads, clinics, wells and other essentials for the Covian people.

Treasurer – The trade minister earns the money, yet it falls to the treasurer to see that money stays in the Covian vaults. In charge of allocating gold to Covian internal (and sometimes external) projects, and adding up the sums to make sure Cove stays out of debt and has enough money to pay the guards wages.

Scribe – Someone must be there to record the outcome of the Court and distribute it to those who were not and could not be present. This is down to the scribe, quietly working away observing proceedings and making sure they are done fairly and by the book.

Governors – Acting as representatives for their respective province or piece of land, they bring up issues concerning the welfare of the people they are charged to protect.

A position in the Baron’s court does not grant you any special powers or leadership qualities of the guild, however people may suck up to you to make sure their view is aired. *Winks*

Also note you will most likely be required to be active at least one evening at 18:00 – 20:00 GMT.
