Name: Gregor Eason
Age: Forty Eight Summers Old
Birthplace: Britain

Gregor grew up as an adopted child amidst a noble family in Britain. He was perhaps only a few years old when he was abandoned by his mother, left at the door step of a Healer's Hut. Baby Gregor was pitied by the wife of a respected Duke on a good will visit to an orphanage, and his life was changed for the better. The Eason family saw that Gregor was well educated in Literature, Philosophy, and the Virtues; and the family guard saw that he was trained in combat and arms lore.
Gregor lived a happy and free life in the Eason family, but he yearned for more. He yearned for adventure, for intrigue, for mystery... for new lands. Gregor enlisted into the Britannian Army on an officer's commission and served for several years, reaching the rank of Captain of a respectable infantry company.
During his service, Captain Gregor Eason took an active role in the defence of Trinsic when it was attacked by Undead forces, and was amongst the first to travel to the Lost Lands and provide reconnaissance for Britannian forces.
Although he served a distinguished career in the Army, Gregor still bears the scars of a military life. As the enthusiastic young always rush off to battle, he has realised pain and suffering through a life of fighting, not to mention his foul drinking habits...
Gregor sought a quieter life, and thus his story leads to Cove. A small, peaceful settlement far from the cold and merciless battlefield, or so he thought... Upon arrival he discovered that Cove lay occupied by an Orc horde, and that a mighty conflict had only just begun for the town of Compassion. Gregor could have walked away... he was a retired soldier. However, it seems a warrior can never resist the call to arms.

Gregor is now a Commander in the Cove Militia, and operates in both the Covian and Vesperian area. His political views are null. He cares little for the Britannian government that armed and trained him. He cares only for peace...

When a military leader loses in battle, it is more than just a simple defeat. It is a gut wrenching, shame damning experience that questions the possibility of ever being able to live again in such a manner where one respects himself.

Following his fall at the Battle of the Eastern Bridge, Gregor has sought quieter days. Resigning the Baron's Commission, and finally giving up his position as Commander of the Cove Militia, Eason has become an Exploring Officer. He seeks out new lands, and keeps up to date with the tellings across Britannia.

In some cases, Eason's profession will involve certain bouts of espionage. And although no longer officially an officer of the Militia (now established as a professional Army), the former Commander is still able to call upon Covian forces when needed, and maybe coordinate offensive strikes on Enemies when spotting weaknesses.

On a personal level, Eason is still shattered by his defeat at the Eastern Bridge. It is likely that he will not recover from such a poor display of tactical awareness and command; and such a failure in his life has given rise to previous drinking habits. Thus, when seen around.. Eason is most likely to be drunk, or recovering from a heavy binge.

So much, for the glory of Cove.

Five years later..

Wrinkles, grey hair.. The signs of old age. But there is more than just the physicality of.. dying. One's body will inevitably break.. but it is not uncommon for the mind to break also - particularly one that has endured as much hardship as this.

What has happened over the past nine years.. is undocumented. For the simply fact, that the memory of the former Commander, once Exploring Officer, of Cove.. is no longer existant.

Happened upon by a random Covian patrol deep inside Trinsic.. Gregor Eason remembers nothing of his old life. Not even of the young child, now grown up, Mela, whom he raised and cherished in his fonder years of Cove.

There is nothing of his Honour, his Courage, his Legend.
Nothing..
