Toward the end of their recruitment advertising duties Officer Cadet Valentine tells Recruit Rufus of a story, that he overheard in a tavern, about a "ghost town"


Unable to find others to join them they determine to investigate alone.

In the lands to the North of Delucia Officer Valentine spots a building in the distance.



Where a grim discovery is made of what has happened to those who have travelled here before.


At first the resistance of the undead is light.....


..........but soon intensifies driving the officer and recruit back to a defensive position.



Calling for re-enforcements the pair are joined by Watchman Radau and Recruit Larry and the four of them advance once more on the foul creatures that inhabit this place.

However the inexperience of the two recruits results in the party losing battle formation and a disorganised retreat ensues with the result that Recruits Larry and Rufus are returned to barracks for further training.
