"Cheeky swine." Eason muttered, as he read over Jack Sinist's profile. "But.. seems he's pulling his weight, and has been showing a flair for the old Training Sessions, eh eh?" He closed his eyes and pondered. Chuckling as he scribbled, the former Commander of Cove snorted. "We'll see what he makes of this." Trial approved!

Watchman's Trial: Jack Sinist
Addressed to Watchman Jack Sinist

Greetings Watchman Sinist.
Seems ye're a bit of a cheeky chap, and sort of behaviour is nay seen to in a positive form. However, ye've been pulling ye weight, and show potential to rise the ranks of the Covian Army. Receiving the coveted Covian Cap is a fine honour, and ye will not be given it lightly... So take heed of the tasks I bring ye, and get the job done.
Gregor Eason, Exploring Officer

Task
* Lead a Patrol to the Orc Fort, and raze it to the ground.
* Coordinate a Sentry at the Altmere Outpost.
* Lead a Hunt to a Dungeon of YOUR choice.
* Organise a Dinner Party for the Covian guardsmen and Citizenship!

Conditions
* Patrol must include at least THREE other guardsmen.
* Fires must be lit in the Orc Fort; also, explosive and conflaguration potions may be used.
* Sentry must include at least THREE other guardsmen, and last at least twenty minutes.
* Hunt must include at least FIVE other guardsmen.
* Dinner Party must seat at least SIX Covians, and include three courses.
* ALL aspects of this Trial must be well documented in THIS thread.

Good Luck!

Altmere Sentry Gate - 4 GMT

Lead By:
Jack Sinist - Watchman

Attended By:
Rory Munro - Officer Cadet
Rupert Ridir - Junior
Kas Valentine - Junior

Silent battle...

Not minutes after we got the sentry up and running, did a huge force of ogres come and try to stomp the sentry to smothers. With joined forces and tremendous team work we set them packing.

Shorty after cleaning up the giant bodies of ogres and the like came a... mongbat invasion... Truly horror as these weak excuses for life came floating at the Sentry, good show from Rupert with his bow...

Indeed horror and decay. I put the Almtere log here as well as an add on to the report.

As a conclusion I would like to write that Altmere seems to need more sentries and patrols as it is a important strategic point in any war, with Yewman as Britantians.

Orc Fort Patrol

Lead By:
Jack Sinist - Watchman

Attended By:
Raiden Morana - Regular Highlander
Kas Valentine - Junior
Marie Le Blanc - Watchman

The burning fort

Another day, another attempt to rid the world of another orc fort. Halt their movements some say, killing a new breed others say. Frankly I couldn't care less...

The four of us set aim for the fort, and as we walked along the road from the highlander mountains to the orc fort we saw high piles of ore. Had someone beat us to it?

Alas we had another mission then to clean up after others...

We moved along the road and as soon as we got in reach of the fort we could see the high guard towers, the stench hit us and I strapped my helmet on tighter to avoid the smell. Who knows what wicked things the smell could do to one?

Either way, once we beat our way through the first line of defence around the watch towers we sat our task in motion.

The towers stood burning for awhile, a nice sight as we entered the well guarded fort.

As we entered the well guarded fort a massive force of orcs approached us, we where cut down and our retreat was blocked, by some miracle we made it, at that moment it was called Valentine... Now don't get me wrong he could have done better...

They're beds and food stashes was burned to the ground. But truly I believe they don't mind sleeping on the ground and eating what ever nature feeds them, seemed kind of pointless in my eyes.

Bed women now you...! And all that...

The resistance of the burning got bigger and bigger the deeper and deeper we went, as we reached the mid section we came upon something that looked like a mix off an meeting/dinner/torture tables. Bodies and blood was hung up on the wall and plates with guts crushed skulls and bodies was laying around, making the horror  greater for each inch of this that my eye could catch. Disgust mixed with fascination hit me...

Alas we burned this with even more pleasure then the rest.

The stench was... my lack of words are a shock to me. The stench was great...

As we reached the ending of the fort we met the last piece of resistance, this took us hours to break down but it was done, with a mix of tactics and magic...

We approached the docks and what did we see? Somehow the orcs had grown enough wit to drive a boat... They where just boarding as we ran out on the docks. What luck, no one must escape... etc etc.

We tossed our conflagration potions at the boat and it quickly catches fire and the orcs screamed in horror as they where burned alive, tasteless yet tastefull.

They screamed... allot.

Working our way back with more ease then we had working our way out, we quickly slayed the squattered orcs as we saw them, to tired and beat down to make a clean search.

Money for the... coffers.

Monsters slayed:
+200 Orcs
+100 Orc Mages
+75   Orc Choppers
+70   Orc Bombers
+20   Orc Scouts
+55   Orc Lords
+14   Orc Brutes

Gold collected:
~ 14000 gold coins

The Dinner

Squeeze it in he said, squeezed it in was what I did. After ordering the local chef to make bread and meat I found me a wood pecker... some Amon Jarl fellow. Either way, tables set and ready. Plates to put the food on and mugs to drink from was needed, good thing the fair Jessica was around to give me a hand.

Useless waitress didn't show up...

Yes so we all sat down to eat and whatever that meant. I would have wanted some entertainment but, I could not find a good musician...

And then when dinner was ready they all wobbled down to the barracks for a training with... training.

Short but fulling dinner.
