OK - It seems that the finest regiment in the Covian army does not have it's own time.

That is something we will have to rectify! *winks*

I'm happy to have a bash - i have some experience with Dreamweaver as i "do" the web site for the company i work for.

It may not look that impressive now but it is quite a profitable little site! I think it looks dated now but that is due to far too much of my time being taken up with admin and other marketing work - anyway enough of that piffle!

I can spend some of my lunch hour on it most days and i'm sure with a little help in the way of pointing me to images or maybe supplying them *winks at Darath* I can make a decent fist of it.

The problem i think i would have is hosting because i aint got nowhere to put it.

Anyway unless anyone else wants a bash i'll give it a try Smiley

p.s. what software is used for the baronship tome? images etc.? (yaya im a noob)

Although I'd have to upload it personally every time you made updates, which might be a nuisance.
I'll look into seeing if I can create other users or something.

For the Baronship tome I use a really really basic HTML editor; I do most of it by hand.
The real trick is in the images. Really site design is just a subtle use of images in the right way. If you save the various images on the BoC tome, and see how they're placed, it'll give you some idea of how its all set up.

I am going away though this Sunday though, so if you were to hand your site to me tomorrrow; it wouldn't get updated for a while *Grin*
But you can try other services, and then when I get back - guaranteed webspace - NO BANNERS

Right I have made a start!

It needs "tarting up" (hopefully i will be able to get my hands on photoshop at the weekend) somewhat - but the bare bones are there.

I'm not happy with the Heading or the Navigation panel - photoshop needed or images donated Wink

I've had problems uploading to the webspace Eason has provided so i have piggybacked it onto another web site - hope the boss isn't in BoC Wink

I second what Darath said. And adding our ICQ numbers to the memberlist will also be nice. Apart from that, this looks very good!

I also have some surprises concerning the comeraderie in the unit that I would very much like to discuss with you folks in the unit. You have my ICQ.

Yep - had a look at some fonts "Gothic" me thinks.

I'll sort that soon.

Dunno if you have time Darath but if you fancy a go at making something for the header to go where the 3rd Glenmore Highlanders text is be my guest.

A crest or somthing like a siggy???

like i said it's the bare bones - i just doodled with it for a couple of hours.


With regard to what Delc' said - dunno if i need a members page and a contacts. I guess i could put icq on members page like Delc' said.

I want to incorporate some Highlander history, mottos (like the one i've done) etc. any and all contributions welcome!

PM or ICQ me with any ideas.

The Highlander tome is best viewed with the Kelmscott font installed.

View the tome as it is intended Wink

The onlt other way round this is to have all the text on the site as images which aint gonna work Wink

It is best viewed in something other than Internet Explorer and also with the Kelmscott font installed on your system - links can be found at the bottom of each page on the site.
