Vince Valentine, Senior Grenadier & Boo Little attended Vlad's leadership hunt!
Just ye and me eh Vlad? Well let's get yer started!I checked Vlads uniform, weapons and kit to make sure he had everything needed and that it was in good condition.
We can nay have unprepared Regulars now can we?Next I had to check Vlads fitness and endurance... I had him do laps of the parade ground with five push ups in each corner but he nay seemed to tire!
Even when i had him drag a huge log across the arena he still showed no signs of fatigue!
Vlad reminded me that you have to be a tough guy to be in the Grenadiers *smirks*I also advised Vlad that as a Regular Guardsman he will be looked up to be recruits and that he too must hold up the good name of the Baronship. As a regular you must act like a gentleman even if like me ye were not born a gentleman.
For the next part of his course he had to display his leadership abilities under combat conditions and defeat some nasty foes in the process. Vince and Boo a sleepy looking recruit joined me and Vlad as we headed out on a three part hunt!
Yer in command Vlad!The first nasty to be vanquished was the dreaded poison elemental... Vlad lead the way barking out his orders and we quickly brought the beast down along with some of its nasty pals.
A good start Vlad lad!Next was the the blood elemental... a nasty beast indeed.
We were down to three from this point as Boo had ter leave rather unexpectadly!Frozen ogre lords were the last to be vanquished... Vlad ordered Vince and me to rush the passage and form at the bridge where we slew the frozen beggars before returning to Cove.
A good show indeed!Back at the barracks i gave Vlad my
glowing assessment of his abilities before dismissing him.
In my opinion Vlad will make a fine Regular Grenadier... well done laddie!
