Hello to you Covians one and all.
I have recently, as in two days ago, returned to UO after a 20 month absence. I am keen to get back into the roleplaying community and am excited that a guild has adopted Cove as a base; being as it was the place i spent my formative months in the game back in early 2001 and all my characters were from Cove as a background.
I'm just in the process of reading up on the CoRE forums at
www.f4g.net to see if there have been any significant changes within the rp community or rules therein, and once I've finished doing so, hope very much to contact a member of the BoC hierarchy regarding the possibility of joining in any capacity.
Prior to leaving UO in late 2003, I had a long-term background in the roleplay community.
Firstly I joined the old Iron Glove Mercenary company, under Stormcrow; a guild that was initially a member of CoY, and latterly ERPA. When Stormcrow departed, I took over as GM, until mid 2002 when real life commitments impeded my capacity for responsibility in a guild.
Afterwards I was a member of The Army of Kaldor, which formed from the splinter members of the Iron Gloves, and briefly a member of the aborted Blackthorn's Guards under Volchak.
All my character slots are used up, so even though a new character wouldn't be possible, I do have a range of characters I'd be willing to put forward for the Baronship if I was accepted to the ranks.
For any decision making members, the character information of my main character is below, and over the next day or two, I'll be in touch with those listed under Apply on the main pages, to discuss whether my appliaction could proceed.
Looking forward to my time back in the lands of Ultima Online, and excited about being able to roleplayback home in Cove.

My main character is Lady Cambylobacter. She was the first one I had, since January 9th 2001. At the time I envisaged her to be a wealthy middle class lady, the daughter of merchants from Cove who plied the trade routes across Britannia. By no means of any noble descent, but nonetheless, a shrewd businesswoman from an intelligent background.
Later on she developed her scouting skills within the Iron Gloves, and made large sums of money under unknown circumstances. Her mysterious fortune, her ability to move silently and unseen, coupled with the fact many of the invading armies from Kaldor had lain in waiting within the ranks of her own company of mercenaries has given her a very sinister reputation.
As my main character, she's the one I would hope most to bring back into the roleplaying community.
Other than her, I have four other characters of varying skills I'd be delighted consider.
