After a training session on the roof, Erik asked if someone wanted to take charge and lead the men on a hunt. Having never lead a hunt before, i jumped at the chance. Once we were lined up outside the barracks, i decided that i might as well start off my hunting career with a bang.
We headed quickly to the shrine of compassion, and headed across Ishelnar towards the beasts lair.
Stopping just outside the valley where the beast resided, we discussed tactics, and Mela went off to draw the creature out from its mountain abode.
The beast swooped out of the sky, and battle commensed. A few men fell to the first beast, but after we revised our tactics slightly, the beasts blood soon stained the grass
After night fell we headed back to Cove, except the two recuits who managed to get themselves hopelessly lost in the forests. Mela had to go back and fetch them from the ratmen, and i beleive made them peel potatoes for the trouble.
