The Great Covian Tourney Report!

Thanks to the Covian Armourer and Vince Valentine for providing equipment and the prizes, thanks to Teagan Trix for providing food, the certificates and running a stall.

After much preparation the Covian Tourney finally took place!  Nobody showed for the Arcanist competition, and none of our allies dared face the Covian swagger, so the glory all belonged to Cove!

First up was the Joust.  Taking place in this honourable Joust were:

Valiro vanished - disqualified

Runners Up decider:

Final

1st place: Joey Lanai - Awarded an inscribed golden lance, 10,000 coins and a certifcate

2nd place: Kal ShadowHand - Awarded an inscribed silver lance

3rd place: Vince Valentine - Awarded an inscribed bronze lance

Sergeant Lanai also won the honour of declaring and crowning the Queen of Love and Beauty.  He was to pick his Queen and crown her with a circlet of laurel leaves but instead crowned himself Queen of Love and Beauty.   'Least he didn't crown his horse.

The Archery Contest:

We only actually had one archer take part (Vince Valentine) but some of the others were game and made an 'impressive' showing. 

1st Round

1st place: Vince Valentine - awarded an inscribed bow, a certificate and 10,000 coins

2nd place: Tiberius - awarded an inscribed bow

3rd place: Joey Lanai - awarded an inscribed bow


The Grand Melee

The last event was a free for all and many took part.  It came down to the Grenadier Sergeant Vince Valentine, the Dragoon Sergeant Joey Lanai and a Recruit named Yella.  The shock result of the evening was that the Recruit won!

Winner: Yella, awarded an inscribed golden axe, 10,000 coins and a certificate.
