Raiden looked over the pile of paperwork on his desk when one name jumped out at him... KRIEGER!

Hmmm. Due some leave is he? Well he's a fine candidate and his beard is of an  acceptable length. Best get cracked on with his trials!

Greetings Junior Krieger, Time ter fulfill yer potential and earn them bronze arms. Here's yer trials!

TASK ONE
To display your Leadership abilities and strengthen the bond of Brotherhood with the Grenadiers you will lead a hunt to a dungeon of your choice.

Catch? What catch? Oh yes, you may only use 40 bandages each and wear limited armour. Good luck!

Conditions: No more than 40 bandies each, Sword/mace fighters may equip their heater shields, Archers may don their plate helm – No other armour. Of course you WILL wear boots, kilt, sash and headdress!

At least 3 Grenadiers must accompany you on this expedition.

A full report with sketches must be posted by you in this thread.

TASK TWO
It is often said that the Tokuno Islands breed some of the fiercest of warriors and nastiest of animals… Piffle! Have they nay heard of the Grenadiers!

To display your Ability To Fight you will lead three hunts to these lands and return with no less than 40,000 gold coins (half for the coffers and half for the Grenadiers).

Conditions: At least 4 other guardsmen must accompany you on each hunt. You must return with a total of at least 40,000 in loot.

A full report with sketches must be posted by you in this thread.

TASK THREE
You will host a Grenadier open day in Cove town. Here you will give a lecture to your fellow guardsmen detailing what it takes to be a Grenadier (Loyalty, Brotherhood, Discipline and Ability to Fight as well as the importance of following the paths of Honour and Sacrifice and a Grenadier's various duties).

Encourage the lower ranks to persue a career in the Baron’s Own.

Also arrange for a civilian to run a refreshment stall for before and after your lecture and encourage other civilians to hold stalls so they can peddle their wares too.

Conditions: At least one Grenadier must attend to monitor your display and give pointers should you need them. Also at least 5 other guardsmen must attend your lecture.

There must be a civilian run refreshment stall but do encourage others to attend.

A full report with sketches must be posted by you in this thread.

When these tasks are complete you must swear fealty to the Baron in front of your fellow Grenadiers by taking The Baron’s Oath.

Good luck!

Aye, a bit busy at the moment, sorting some things out with family back in Minoc. I won't be forgetting about this though, mark my words!
