Our job, as always, was not an easy one. Apparently the scouts require a certain type of dirt to camoflage themselves, the type found on the corpses of certain earth based nasties. Doesn't sound very hygenic to me, smothering yourself with dead monster dirt, but what the heck! I'm not a scout! HoHo!
Onwards we went, into the darkness, smashing many of the lumbering sods.
Local hero Joey Lanai was in his element, giving them a good old taste of Covian justice!
Harr! They should have ran when they saw the mace!Once we'd collected enough of the vile stuff, we ventured deeper, into the heart of the caverns...
Many a nasty tried to stop us, but we showed them a thing or two! Mainly the blunt end of a mace.
My bow came in handy against a group of cowardly beasts, hiding in the water...

We reached the deepest part, where a foul smell hung.....
Suddenly, a whoosh came past us, and there stood a Creature of pure venom, pure poison, pure...Evil! We stood fast, and showed them just how a Covian swaggers!
The evil ones destroyed, our dirt safely in our packs, we headed back to Cove, where we unloaded our packs. Over 20,000 gold coins, and a stack of dirt big enough to cover even the widest face! Good job Raiden, very noble of you to help the scouts out like that. Fine work by all Guardsmen attending.
