The Baron's Household

Household staff:

Introduction:

"The household of a Cove is a vast complex of government and non-government buildings which comprise the heart of Cove. Key locations such as the barracks and the church are housed within this area, as well as the central seat of Government - the Baron's court. These buildings need to be maintained and well managed, and it falls down to the Household staff to see this job through. In addition to these already important duties the Household staff must also oversee the Baron and his welfare, as well as the welfare of his Grenadiers. They will cook on state occasions, look after the Baron's health, and generally ensure his will is administered amongst the citizens. If the Baron wants a new policy executed - you can be sure it will fall to the Household staff to carry it out."

Concept:

In essence, think the Grenadiers of the citizen world here. These individuals are responsible for the Baron, his land, and the household. My main aim here is to have a division whereby it can interlink with the Grenadiers and really feed off their activity. The Household staff have a duty to feed and maintain the Grenadiers, and in turn the Grenadiers have a duty to defend the Household staff. This also allows a lot of flexibility as people can really be anything here, from the Baron's physician to a cook or cleaner or perhaps even a jester for the Household! It's really up to the player's imagination.

Traits:

*The Household staff are loyal to the Baron and will support his decisions whatever they may be.
*The Household staff are highly concerned with the upkeep of the Household and as such have a hatred for anyone who actively seeks to hinder their work or cause damage to the Household in any way.

Uniform:

There is only one set piece of uniform for the Household staff which identifies them as such and that is the Covian coloured surcoat they must wear at all times. Other than that, the Household staff have uniforms which are fitting of their occupation but it has been rumored many of the richer members of the staff go so far as to imitate the Baron's style as to gain favour in his Court!

Requirements:

*Must complete a series of trials as set by the Baron or a member of Household command.
*Must be at least citzen rank before applying to join the Household staff (don't want any commoners stinking up the place!).
