What happens if I claim to be off duty, but a higher up tell's me I'm not. Will I get in trouble for rping without my suit on ..or will I get credit for doin somethin different?  Shocked

The general guild rule is that guardsmen always wear their uniform unless they are at an event where it is specified otherwise. While I agree occasionally it's a change for guardsmen to be out of uniform, it often causes problems as the Covian army has to be ready to react to stealth and surprise attacks from other guilds at any minute; and in addition it can often delay events as people have to search for the correct uniform and so forth.

Besides, we are roleplaying Guardsmen here. You could argue that during your off hours your character is off duty. If you would preffer to roleplay a less armoured way of life then there is the civilian element.

So once in a while, being off duty and having a beer isn't an offense that is punishable by Mela's cooking?
