A funny story (Might be deemed as babble)

The Khae and the mates decided to go out to the Glasgow ABC, the probably largest club in Glasgow, and I believe they can room 2500, unless the bouncers tricked me. So, off we go, accosting bushes and the like. We split up since some pansies say that they want to take a taxi.

Eventually we get in, and Khae begins to dance. Khae starts to cleverly seduce 3 women, but is led on by nasty medicine students. Khae wiggles more than his eyebrows, and suddenly... PAIN! His lower spine and right leg suddenly hurt like hell, but dulling the pain with several double rums and coke, he eventually recovers. Limping home at 5 am, he reaches bed.

Next day he wakes up due to excruciating pain in his spine and right leg. Finding out he's barely able to move, he eventually gets out of bed. Staggering off to the hospital to get his body checked, he waits for 2 PAINFUL HOURS at the Royal Infirmary before they say he's ripped, shredded and pulled a shedload of muscles. Giving him a prescription for seriously powerful Mick Mars painkillers that are supposed to help, they say the pains will last for about a week. And to get the pills, he's gotta get his arse over to the city centre. Swearing loudly, Khae limps about to get the pills. Which only start working after several hours. Deciding it's best to mix them with alcohol, Khae sets out to get drunk for the fourth day in a row!

Yeah want a good tip? Dont drink and use pills AND the real trick with medicine is not to take them when your feeling pain but take them at regular intervalls. Like three/four times a day at set times. That way the painkiller level is more constant and way more effective.

Seriously, I've had more broken bones in my life then years. I know my painkillers!

I feel constant pain, so I am anyway taking them twice a day anyway. The doctor prescribed how much so I don't slaughter my body with it, this isn't exactly aspirin or paracets. And I can drink and use the pills, but not to excess, first thing I asked the doctor.

Due to my shifts I usually go out in Glasgow during the week, Frankenstein's, whilst being fairly mediocre, is open until 0300 hours 7 days a week, and thus is good for late-hour drinking During the week.  ABC...pfft.

Firewater is open late during the weekend/end of the week and is good, especially for students.

I assume, of course, that you've been to some of the famous pubs in Glasgow like the Scotia bar (one of the oldest in Glasgow) and the Horseshoe (was until fairly recently the longest bar in Europe in the Guiness Book of Records)?

Maybe three years ago, Kate (my wife) had a painkiller prescribed - Ketonal (I dunno if exists under the same name elsewhere, its active substance is ketoprofenum). Damn strong, you can take one 100mg pill once per 8 hrs etc. One day she forgot that she took one, and drank maybe about 1/5th beer... Well, she told that things she saw were most incredible... Not to mention the giga-hangover-like effect couple hours after that...

Firewater is teh suXx0rs and obviously I've been to the Horseshoe. But I'm usually not over at the West End, it's a fair distance. Only over there for gigs at the S. E. C. C.

Usually it's the Union, The Lord Todd or the Cathouse I frequent.
