I'm am soooooooooo gonna play these. Also take a look at the X-Com: UFO Defense. Delc and I've spent HOURS playing that.

I once had the Ultima Collection including Alkalabeth to ultima 6 & 7 Serpents Isle great games one in all though old even Alkalabeth was settign standards as it is one of the first to use the "scrolling hallway" type gameplay and noth the side to side up down type.

I've got all the ultima games. 

The first one I ever played was Ultima 4 on the Sega Master System back in 1993 or 1994.  That game was awesome! Fighting pirates for control of their ship, having broadside cannon battles with the pirate scum!
 Having to have the ship get sucked into a whirlpool in order to get to Cove!

I actually.....*bows head in shame* Never played Ultima games......Just Ultima Underworld

Take a look at X-Com 2 & 3 as well.....I used to go sooooooo mental on wrecking the cities in those two...I just had my favourite toons and instead of risking sneakattacks, I generally either used a recruit as fodder or just.....blew it all up Smiley

I met etherals for the first time in years. They still invoke the same fear with the GM-cloaks. I sent in 10 rookies. Buh-bye!

If you want to blow up cities, try downloading Syndicate Wars somewhere.
The first syndicate was good, but now with the Dungeon Keeper engine (allowing real 3D cities) you could really level pretty much everything in sight. And as if thermo-nuclear grenades were not bad enough, the game also has the option to call in an airstrike... from a satellite (yes, railgun bombard!!). Ofcourse none of these options would ever be used if you weren´t in a crowded area.

Speaking about "rail guns" The US Navy has finally developed a working "rather well working too" Rail gun. i mean the  tests have everyone with gold on their shoulders smilling from ear to ear!
