John walked off towards the tavern away from Eason's ramblings and fart burning ways..

Tiberius sat on the usual bar stool, drinking his life away as John stepped in.

"Tibby sir, I need yer help."
"What? Another ruthless report to write for ye?"
"No sir! An application sir!"
"For what?"
"The navy sir!"

Right after had finished Tiberus squirted out his ale like a geizer all over the tavern keeper, he took a quill and some paper to begin write the application.
