Guardsmen attending:

Eve                      Junior Guardsman
Gimbly                 Regular Grenadier
Raiden Morana    Grenadier Corporal
Vince Valentine    Grenadier Sergeant (Leading)

How well do we know our enemies? The foul beasts of this land that would claim our lives if we gave them half a chance?
This training would focus on the many foes we vanquish on a daily basis, running through any weak points that they may have. I'd ordered a set of scale models to be made to act as a visual aid.We began with everyones favourite homicidal pensioner, The Lich!

The Lich:

An undead foe, using the darkest magics to sustain it's life and eternally torment the unwary. Eve was quick to identify the model, she's obviously had a run in or two with them before. Gimbly had a fine tactic for ridding the lands of these buggers, involving his trusty mace and the undead buggers face...

Too right Gimbly!

A quicker way to go about it, is to smash the ribcage of the lich, thus crushing his vital organs. The Grenadiers noted this, and we moved on to....

The Dragon:
Winged bringer of destruction, these are no walk in the park to battle. Raiden explained his simple, yet effective tactic for bringing one of these buggers down in one simple phrase...

*Winces* That'll leave a mark

As effective as this is, attacking it's legs is the way to go. Forcing it to buckle, this will allow you to reach it's back and administer the final blow! With the Grenadiers noting this also, we moved on to the next, which happened to be...

The Zombie:

Another variety of undead scum, these once human beasts can be troublesome indeed. Eve again was quick to identify this one. She's obviously going to make a fine addition to the grenadiers, having killed all manner of abominations.
Her suggestion for taking one down sounded almost as painful as Raidens..

*Winces again* Remind me to stay on your good side Eve

This indeed would work, but setting them ablaze would work even better! Seem to be highly flammable these sods, and faced with a group of grenadiers,, that'd not be good for him! Last, but by no means least was...

The Demon:

Some say these Creatures are created of pure evil. I say they die like any other sharp tooth, winged son of a yewman. Coming from the pits of hell, they dislike the cold, prompting the grenadiers to suggest throwing cold ale over it!

W...What?

Obviously they were joking, as any guardsman knows, a grenadier would give up a limb before wasting ale on a creature of evil!
The best tactic would be to have any archers present in your squad aim for it's immense wings, which are highly sensitive. Whilst it winces in pain, unable to escape, it's throat shall lay exposed, ready for your blade!

We'd been through a selection of beasts, and the hour grew late. We'd only just seen the tip of the iceberg as far as the creatures of these lands are concerned, but should we meet any of the beasts mentioned above, we shall surely have them laying dead in front of us in record time.

Excellent job grenadiers, your tactical excellence and legendary swagger shone through.
