Scrawled in red ink on a neat piece of parchment is a small recruitment post of sorts. It is stuck in the center of the board as if trying to catch peoples eye

Dear Guardsmen,

As some of you know on the 10th of June organized by Vesper is a battle of the cities. I am trying to pull together a team to represent Cove and hopefully win the tournament taking home the prize!
Ideally we are looking for at least one archer and one Mage to join our team. Write your names  and dove numbers (no pigeons please! They scare me) below if you are interested and I shall send you a dove as soon as humanly possible.

For more details take a look at the events board in the barracks

Everyone seem to be interested in signing up, why not settle it with a tournament? The winners form the team we beat Vesper with.
