The Covian Baths
Hosted by: Axiana, Citizen & Amon Jarl, Burgher. Axiana and I met up early to give ourselves enough time to prepare. I set about erecting the bath tubs and then we both filled the baths with water and scents.
We had decided on three baths, one scented with rose oil, one with lavender and the last one with exotic tea tree and peppermint.
Ah... Finished at last.With the baths complete, Axiana set up her famous fountains/foot spas while i laid out the refreshment area. It was around this time that the first off duty guardsmen begin to wander so while I welcomed them Axiana went off to change into her bathing costume. Speaking of which, I could have had a roaring trade in ladies bathing costumes this day. I made one for Miss Sunset and a pretty, young Guardswoman and also a stranger to our lands from Nujelm. But then again it was my day off after all so they were on the house.
Let the bathing begin!The baths were now getting busy so i too went to change and took a relaxing soak, with Watchman Wildheart regaling us with a story of the previous nights action against the inbred Yewlanders. Thank the Avatar I was in Moonglow on business last eve.
It was good to see not just Covians enjoying the baths as a bartender from Vesper's trading company frolicked with a young female in the lavender bath and two young ladies new in Cove took advantage too.
Don't be shy...A young maiden named Labella from Nujelm was encouraged to join the fun and Axiana and I told her of the fine lives we lead as Covian subjects. There was another young lass too, Holly was her name, a native of Haven... Or what's left of it.
Amon is always on duty!She was sat at one of Axiana's fountains practising some needlework which of course caught my eye. We had a good chat Holly and I. I gave her a leaflet too and told her a few tales of my service to the Baronship Household and Cove.
Axiana then got changed and offerred a cleaning service to the gathered guardsmen. Polishing boots, washing kilts and the like. Rather her than me I must say.
Alas time was moving on and Axiana had to depart, so i set about draining the baths and dismantling Axiana's fountains as the bathers filtered away.
A good time was had by all i think.
