A Civilian trip to gather cotton from MoonglowCitizens attending ~

As Axiana and I awaited any other Citizens wishing to accompany us, a breeze swept over us pleasantly. The day was warm and cool wind was most welcome.
The trip ahead would be most relaxing we thought. What could go wrong? As it turned out, it wouldn't be as relaxing and laid back as we thought.
Our troubles began even before we had left the safety of Cove, with a bone clad man speaking to us in a hissing, vile sounding voice. Thank goodness Mister Arkay turned up, or lord knows what the brute would have done to us poor defenceless ladies!
Miss Axiana and I decided we'd best set off before anymore troule started up. Off we went! It wasn't long before we hit our second hurdle unfortunatly. A large, Ogre sized, packhorse bashing hurdle. The huge beast knocked down poor Neilson in one strike, and had it not been for the kindness of a passing miner, we'd surely have been next on its list!
*Sighs*We hurridly continued our journy, almost running headlong into a group of bandits, until we were safely on the outskirts of Moonglow. We were exhausted after the gauntlet that we'd just ran, but we had work to do! We pressed on, one pack horse remaining, to the fields of cotton. In safety at last, we began our work. Miss Axiana started picking the cotton and I began whittling the wood from the nearby trees into arrow shafts. I even found some sturdy, pretty looking wood that we decided to keep for Mister Qom.
And to top it all, it's raining *Rolls eyes*Like ladies possessed, we picked and hacked, until we could do so no more! That's when we decided to take a break. Miss Axiana began a campfire, and set out some of her delicious salad. We debated eating the cotton plants, but decided that doing that may have unwanted side effects...
Our work finished, we made the trip home, which seemed like a quiet walk in the park compared to the trip out, let me tell you! A fine amount of cotton gathered, which was put to the loom and made into
19 Bolts of cloth. In addition, we gathered
671 arrow shafts as well as Mister Qoms fancy wood.
All in all, a fine trip indeed. Excitement, dashing strangers and cotton humour. What more could two girls from Cove ask for?
