Pumping legs, pushups, and parade drills

Summoned to the roof to attend a parade drill lead by Regular Scout Dalamar, I straightened myself in position, knowing a drill lead by someone who was already holding his punishment stick is not one that would pass easily. Managing to avert the first beating by cheekily sneaking my rank in, I knew that my luck would soon run out, and I would inevitably receive the much dreaded whack to the head. Much of the drill passed slowly, orders being explained for the benefit of our new and promising recruit Tamara. Dalamar made sure to thoroughly check our armour, the recruits turning out to be the best, and even gave us an "encouraging" whack with his stick to test it.
