A Grenadier knows no limits.

Grenadiers/Potentials in attendance:~

Our swagger brought the three of us, to the entrance of the castle of Blackthorn in Ilshenar,  or should I say that I foolishly led the other two there.  It was my aim to return to headquarters with some extra funds for the grenadiers!

There are two ways of doing things, Vince used to say, the right wrong way or the Grenadier way!  Once inside we were greeted not with fine wines but with weapons sharp and gleaming (At a guess, it's been a long time since they were last visited)!

We soon came to blows with the Juka, Controllers, Betrayers and the metal giants on rollers. 

All good things come to an end unfortunately!  Having reached the top floor of the castle, we discovered that there were now, too many for the three of us to handle!  Seeing sense we were forced to use a magical portal to make a vital and quick exit.

If only there'd been one or two more of our bronze brethren around we would have secured the castle for sure.

We just didn't have the fire power to repel so many evil golden minions.

Only our great skill, teamwork and Grenadier swagger allowed us to withdraw with our lives intact.

A truly Valentinesque adventure Corporal.

I think I need ter change my kilt. *shifty eyes*
