On Sunday afternoon I was spending some time off duty at the Swaggers with a few people. I was introduced to a man by the name of Kal Miguel, for the express purpose of sharing some important news. The information turned out to be of a rather alarming nature and after pressing for as much detail as possible I finished my drink and went on my way. I didn't think anything of it, as concerning as it may have been, until I had some time to talk with Delferium later in the evening.
I explained that Kal had spoken of a woman fitting Mischief's description and that the jist of it was she had some "friends" that were seeking my person. Almost at once Delferium insisted we return to the Swaggers and seek him out, with a view towards putting the encounter to paper.
We did so and as luck would have it Miguel arrived soon after we did. Sitting down outside the Swaggers (I could not go inside for personal reasons I'd rather not go into) Delferium had the man repeat the story while I took notes.
My notes are as follows;
- Kal Miguel was alone at the Swaggers.
- The woman similar to Mischief arrived a little while later.
- She was on her own.
- The meeting occured a week ago.
- He asked her what she was there for and she replied that some of her friends wanted to talk to Kas Valentine.
- A name was mentioned, possibly that of her friends, "D'Gar".
- When the woman realised Miguel couldn't provide any assistance, she left.
- Kal didn't think anything of it because at this time we hadn't met.
With our business at an end we thanked the man for his help and left the Swaggers. I thought I would write a report to bring it to the attention of Command, hopefully it may assist with the on-going investigation.
