Red v. Blue

Reporting to the Barracks at the time designated by the Commander, I realized that...well, the Commander wasnt there, and wasnt coming. So! I rallied the men up, separated them into two teams, and had them each go and find robes of a suitable color for their squads. After this, I had everyone gather up and head through a moongate (supplied by Kas) to Serpent's Hold.

Once there, I dispatched Team Red to hold the far side of the bridge spanning the two Islands. After a moment of preparation, Sarge - acting as Team Blue's leader - ordered us to charge. We hurtled into the courtyard of the northern guard post, only to find that no one was there!

Or were they?

Suddenly a hail of bolts and spells cut myself and Valkur down, and forced the rest of Team Blue back. But the Blues were not to be stopped! They assaulted the post again and crushed Team Red.

Team Red was then tasked with defending a second building further into the town. Team Blue met heavy resistance, and, with some difficulty (which I attribute to no one listening to Sarge's orders), managed to eject the Reds from the building. Now, it was Red's turn to attack.

Blue, expecting the counter-attack, took up ambush positions behind crates, tables, and innocent bystanders. As Team Red charged into the building (completely unaware of their imminent doom), Team Blue sprung out and downed several before finally chasing down the survivors outside.

We finished with several Free For Alls, none of which I won, but in all of which Kas cheated.

A grand training exercise. Sir, you sure do some outstanding training situations and Serpents Hold is an excellent training ground.

I agree Kas is a cheat and he should face some punishment... damn voodoo doers.

I am not a cheat !

S'not my fault you can't catch Kas.

Nor is it my fault if Mercy and I are really clever and decide to single handedly (or rather quadruple handedly) destroy our combined opponents in free for all.

Glory to the Arcanists !

A signature is written in gravy,
Company Arcanist Kas Valentine.
