The ranks are rather... thin. I look around at the beds at garrison, many are empty. I look in the supply lockers and see too many gear sacks set aside for men who have never returned. I look still to those who lie beneath us. With so few new faces, so many simply wandering off or being lost, and still the fact that old and and war will take their toll. I decided I aught to do somehting useful for a change! I set off to conquer the world! No... just decided to place some banners and get a few more recruits before old age mkes it impossible for me to train em!




I went to all the major moongates, lakeshire and twin oaks taver in ilshanr, the ilshnar shrines of: sacrifice,valor, spirituality, humility, and honor; luna, umbra, Makoto, and serpents hold!

Hopefully we shall see more recruits or more citezens!

Waking to a beautiful morning with sunshine and birdsong I was in a fine mood, and what better way to make use of this than to head out and spread the Covian word. Torrak suggested we visit lands as far away from Cove as possible, to capitalise on chances of prospective recruits. So with Marcus Kobra and Takeamada in tow we set off.

We toured countless towns, meeting all manner of strange folk, some friendly and some not so. Our voices were loud and proud as we extolled the virtues of enlisting with the Baronship, speaking at length of the nature of our noble Baron. At times we spoke in private to individuals and at others a crowd gathered and listened to what we had to say.


Many men and women stopped us and exchanged words of admiration for the parade drills we put on as a display of Covian prowess, as you would expect. In the end we were confident that our recruitment drive had piqued the interest of several of the foreigners and declared the journey a success with a mighty cry.


We shall return to the same lands in time, hopefully bringing a few of the natives back to enlist.
