I travelled to a few venues this afternoon, throwing leaflets this way and that in the hope that someone might be attracted by my behaviour enough to have a read. Unfortunately there was no cloth available when I gathered the leaflets so I was unable to provide Covian demarcation.

Nevertheless, here is my impression of the journey in the form of a sketch.....

I decided to go against the standard procedure of visiting several towns this afternoon, choosing instead to concentrate my efforts on a single one.....

New Haven.

For a lot of people, young and old, this is the island they come to when they decide they want to learn a trade or simply discover more of Britannia. So with that in mind what better place to offer employment with the Company of Cove. Fresh minds are far more likely to consider enlisting and devoting themselves to the roles we can offer, be it mercenary or humble commoner.

The town is fairly big but nevertheless I set up Covian banners at all the places of interest (as well as a few high traffic roads in and out of the place).

Upon my return to the barracks I noticed that we were beginning to run a little low on such important supplies as runestones and torches. I must admit the enchanting of a fat sack of stones outside the barracks left my fingers so weak that I could barely carry the sheaf of torches I managed to acquire. Not to worry, everything is in order now.

May the people of the realm flock to Cove and bring about a new reign for the Baronship !

Where better to bolster the numbers of the Company than in the dungeons of Britannia....? My pack horse and I daubed the entrances of some of our realms most renowned trouble spots with Baronship banners. Why train up poor wolf bitten recruits when we can enlist battle ready adventurers.

As a side note to this report I noticed that our recruitment supplies were low so I took the liberty of restocking. The quota is now;

Fifty one leaflets.
Fifty five runes for the barracks.
Two hundred and eighty eight torches.

Our banner cloth did not require any additional replenishment.
