I believe the reason for this is that mages already are as pimped out by just being mages that additional benefits would just decrease the fun for those choosing another style of fighting.

I'd say why not....Just as long as you don't have illegal mods like FC/FRC/SDI/MR/LMC/etc etc...

Wearing a GM Spellbook without mods would be A-ok for me Smiley

I think that wraps it up nicely! Wink If I'm not mistaken, a GM scribe made spellbook without mods is identical to a normal full spellbook.
