Hey guys and gals, I’ve put together a JustGiving page to buy a flower arrangement from us as a community for her funeral. The donation goal is Ł100 and we can buy the arrangement that is shown in the picture. You can donate any amount and please remember to give your in game name with guild handle with your donation. This way I can add your name on the ribbon. Let me know if you have any questions. Link: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/motherofswaggers

This morning I was informed that Sioned's player Dorthe has passed away last night. Of course we will hold a memorial service for her in game, details on this will follow later.

Sio was one of the kindest and longest playing souls in the community

I will inform you on more details once I know them. It would be cool if some of us could show up for her memorial

Leanne stood silently at a window in her manor, gazing upon the plains of Altmere, which was drowned in a crescent moonlight. The usual stern look switched for a peaceful smile and a spark in her eye. Thoughts and memories went through her mind, of all she experienced during her time in Cove. The many people that had passed, the friends who became lovers, as well as those who she once called enemy.

Serj Easons passing was a while ago. And while she still felt sad about that loss, she did no longer thirst for vengeance. What good would it do?, she thought to herself. Leanne's life was always accompanied by bloodshed. Violence only causes more violence, she knew that. Serj would be remembered for as long as she'd live. By her, Ilyana, and many more.

Even though this Ilyana wasn't "hers", she loved her as if she'd be. And even though she recently caused an explosion with one of her many experiments with Pickles, which resulted in a hole in one of the plaster walls, she'd never trade her again. Ilyana came over the loss of Serj. She still cried sometimes in the night tho.

As for Pickles, she finally seemed to be that joyful self again she was so many seasons ago, wearing her famous jingle hat more often than not. Leanne still loved her deeply. She already went through the abyss more than once protecting that green haired arcanist with her amber eyes, and Leanne knew, Pickles would do the same for her.

One man she once called an enemy was Declan O'Conner. These days however, passed. Even Hoagie, one of the few souls she was able to call a friend, was found to be visiting Leanne at her house every now and then. And all of them found to be laughing, eating and drinking all together in happiness. It was an odd sight to see this always grumpy, bald man grinning. But Leanne valued every moment among her closest friends and family.

Leanne had seen a lot in her time of duty. She lived long enough to become the leading huntress in the Huntsmaster score who was still alive, became an Officer for a period of time and was a veteran who came out alive of many battles.

She hanged her old bow, which accompanied her on many adventures on the wall, gave it a final pat, as her wife called her for bed. "Until duty calls us again, old friend." One last time she glanced out the window and thought of the many memories to come. But for now, she enjoyed the peace in the North. And all else, is a story for another day...

Hello please !

I hope everyone is keeping well, I do miss your lovely faces but sadly I don't have a whole lot of time for gaming lately. Literally speaking, I have an Xbox X and a 4K television and I never touch it. I have fantastic free adventure opportunities on the Outlands and UOSA servers but only log in to refresh my real estate.

The only game I take everywhere and make time for on my days off is Pokémon Go. So if any of you play it (especially you continental mothers with your sweet exclusive Pokémon) then drop your trainer code in and I'll happily friend you and shower you with gifts on a daily basis.

Much love,
KV.

Wednesday 30th January.

I haven't written for a while, I haven't had much to say... Young Eason's death really got to me.

Of all the lost comrades and friends down the years, his loss seemed the most pointless. The lad lit up the place, his passion and loyalty and enthusiasm rubbed off on us all and alas, Gregor's health has taken a turn for the worse since the boy has been gone. In truth, it's only the love of Aries that has kept me from an even deeper melancholy.

Our ranks dwindle, whilst the orcish warbands swell. The Militia and Vesperians barely venture from their borders. The weather is bleak, times are hard. The baron and his staff have retreated once more to the colonies and again, I'm left to question my duty and my place within it all.

I've missed out on a lot in life and I never regretted it. Never regretted being a soldier and serving Cove but I don't want to miss out on making memories with the lass... Before it's too late. There's plenty of life left in the old dog yet but the dog is indeed getting old.

I think it's time to retire. To live out the rest of my life without grime and blood and gristle on my hands.

I hope my fellows will forgive me.

Hello all,

Following the Baronship of Cove's cessation of business and the general Europan return to slumber, several of us have made a home with The Blackstone Company.

The Blackstone Company

The Blackstone Company is a mercenary guild on the Outlands Ultima Online free server. We are a group of fighters in search of fortune and glory against all odds and all opposition.

The character that will fit in best is a thrill-seeking adventurer with dollar signs for eyes, but there is room for all comers. After all, the company needs equipment made, drinks served, and a place to spend their gold!

Come and join in the fun.

Covians,

It is a new year, and with the new year comes the traditional time for life changes and new beginnings.

Over the months since April 2018, we have had some great times together and events which rivalled the days of old. I'm sure everyone involved will always treasure those memories. However, the current command team lacks the time and energy to keep pushing Cove forward in the face of a slowly shrinking community and the mechanics of a game increasingly at odds with the ideals that the Baronship of Cove has always held dear.

It is with regret that we announce that the Baronship of Cove is no longer officially "in business". We are keeping an account with the guild master title open in order to take care of the stone and deal with any problems as they arise, but there will be no official events or stewardship from Command team members.

We ask that you continue to follow the RoE while logged into characters that remain on the stone out of respect for the standards that the Baronship has always upheld and the remaining members of the community. At least a few of us will continue to be accessible on Discord if there are any problems.

Thank you all for your involvement over the past year. We hope that you continue to have great adventures, wherever they might be. Who knows? Perhaps we'll be back in 2025.

*Salutes.*

Friends,

Since the late Serj Eason's funeral, I have been full of thoughts of my own mortality. I was deeply moved by Eason's eulogy, and I thought it wise to pen a few words of my own to be spoken in the event of my untimely demise. Please keep this letter safe.

You son of a bitch,

Do you really think that this wasn't part of my plan? Even as you stood over my bloodied corpse, the pieces were set in motion to assure your downfall.

You cannot run fast enough.

Thanks.
