PAtrol of the Orc Fort

To show the bastards we were still around, I made a small patrol there, together with Recuit Seamus.

Aye, they are still there watching and waiting, but I am happy to report ther is a lot fewer of them. We cleaned a good part of the fort, with only minor injuries. A big brute were killed and its followers shattered.

After running around cove like mad men we finally came across a priest of mondain. After ordering him to repent or die....he chose the latter

It was my proud duty to note down and make some sketches of my first patrol, on the 5th night of November, lead by Commander Gregor Eason with myself and Karn (Guardsmen Recruits) accompanying, around the Cove Shire.

After some "inspiring" words Judas led us north and already gave us some "form".


Finally we reached the hunting grounds and did not only get mudd on our clean boots, but had to face a mass of ugly swamp inhabitants who decided to test Covian fighting skill. To make it short: they lost!


So we returned with some gold for the Baronys treasures, and were still able to run around the barracks, for Judas decided it would be better for us than to stand around. *sighs*

It started when we had a weird visitor that only spoke yellah. Then Erik told me and Akira to go on patrol. Judas met up and took control of the situation and Delcarakdur came as well.(ooc)didnt reinstall my pic taker(ooc)Judas slayed the Orc brute to show it that Covians will never fall to them. After slaying a bunch of Orc mages, Bombers, Scouts, and just plain ol' Orcs. Akira and Delcaradur had to flee. I guess they couldn't take the hits nomore. And Me and Judas finished up a bit and then Judas lead me home.

Well it started off as a normal patrol..Odenetheus took us on a patrol of the orc fort. He thought we should learn that healing is our friend and made us take off all armor but kilt,sash, and boots. He also decided to build a Orc pile.

Odenetheus had us standin' around most of the time doin' nothin, in our kilts.
Odenenetheus also got a piece of Ben's mind.
I also got in trouble for "getting out of form" which I did not and was threatened to be reported.Thats it.

Patrol of Cove - Early Morning, 19th November

A trek along the Northen road into cove, making sure it were all clear for any travellers!

Dispatched a total of 2 Ogres, 3 Trolls, 3 Water Elementals, 1 Harpy, 1 Giant Spider, and a grand 8 bandits and rouges!

A much needed sweep of the road *nod nod*.

Patrol to Covetous - Around daytime 15 GMT 19/11/2005

Attended guardsmen:

The main purpose was to gather feathers from the harpies in the dungeon. Healing practise and battle practise became the bonus. The entrance inside the dungeon was covered with pillars of fire which bursted up from the ground, that didn't stop us from getting to the nearby giant birds which held the feathers we needed. After some time in the dungeon killing and collecter feathers we headed back home.

Patrol to the orc fort - Around daytime 16 GMT 19/11/2005

Lately alot of sound had been coming from behind the Cove mountain, alot of grunting orc sounds. Raiden decided that we needed to do something about this disturbance. Quickly he gathered the available men and we headed out for the Orc fort. When we got there just a small orc or two appeared, nothing much, everything looked peacefully. We faught our way into the middle of the fort, where were all the orcs? Nay idea, so we went further down the fort. Suddenly atleast ten or twenty orcs jumped us! Since we weren't that many we couldn't hold our grounds very long but enough time to smash down atleast two brutes and countless of smaller orcs.


When the third brute attacked, we were surrounded and trapped by all the corpses so we had no way to go. All three of us got knocked but not too soon after that we were back on our feet outside Cove city gates, without our boots, ready to head back into the fort to pay some revenge. And so we did. After retrieved our backpacks from the orcs we quickly took down several of the meatbags before noticing an army of orcs was heading towards us, it was time to head home. Chased almost all the way to cove gates by archer orcs, but we made it out alive and with our purses filled with previously stolen Covian civilian gold that we had taken from the orcs. O what a day...

Added: Just noticed that my feathers that I got from a previous patrol are gone, I suspect an orc stole and ate them hmpf
